About Chelora DyesBuilt around one promise: the same colour, every lot
We supply pigment and amine intermediates, nitro and chlorinated benzenes, and the process chemicals that turn them into colour. Every lot is tested in-house before it ships, so what you approved is what you receive.
CIChelora Dyes is the dyes and pigments business of Chelora Industries, a Mumbai-based chemical group.

Who we are
For most colour makers, the hard part is not finding a product. It is getting the same product again next month.

- 25 amine intermediates
- 16 benzenes & nitro
- 8 process chemicals
Chelora Dyes supplies the building blocks of colour: pigment intermediates, amine intermediates for dyes, nitro and chlorinated benzenes, and the process chemicals that turn them into finished dyes and pigments.
A small change in an intermediate's purity or moisture shows up downstream as a shifted shade, a slow coupling or a pigment that will not disperse. So we test every lot before it leaves, and ship it with the data to prove it.
We work with partner manufacturing facilities and supply through the Chelora group's pan-India network, so one enquiry can cover your whole route to colour, from Nitrobenzene to 4B Acid to Nitrosylsulfuric Acid.
What we do
- Source from partner manufacturing facilities
- Test every lot in-house against its specification
- Ship batch test data and an SDS with every order
- Send samples for trial in your own process
- Pack each product for its form and hazard profile
- Plan repeat supply around your production schedule
Every lot ships with three things
So your goods-in, quality and safety teams can release material without chasing paperwork.
- 1Identification
- 2Hazard identification
- 4First-aid measures
- 7Handling and storage
- 8Exposure controls and PPE
- 14Transport information

Our promise
Batch‑consistent colour, engineered.
It is the line on our packs and the standard behind every shipment. The shade you signed off at trial should be the shade you get from next month's delivery, and the one after that.
-
Consistency first
A lot is dispatched only after it has been tested against its specification, so your yield and shade do not drift from one delivery to the next.
-
Full documentation
Batch test data and a Safety Data Sheet travel with every shipment, so your quality team can release material without chasing paperwork.
-
Chemistry you can talk to
Our technical team works in diazotisation, coupling and sulfonation, so questions on grade and application get a chemist's answer.
-
Straight answers
Clear information on grade, availability and lead time. If we cannot supply to your specification, we tell you so up front.
How a lot reaches your plant
We are a supplier, not a single factory. That lets us cover your whole colour route while every lot still passes through the same checks before it reaches you.
-
Step 1
Partner manufacturing
Products are made at partner facilities chosen for each chemistry, from nitration to sulfonation.
-
Step 2
In-house testing
Each lot is checked against its specification: appearance, assay, moisture and the parameters that matter for that product.
-
Step 3
Documentation
The batch test report and Safety Data Sheet are prepared to travel with the lot.
-
Step 4
Packing and labelling
Packed for its physical form and hazard profile, and labelled with product, lot and hazard information.
-
Step 5
Delivery to your plant
Dispatched through the Chelora group's pan-India network, on a schedule planned around your production.
Four families, one route to colour
The range is organised the way colour is made: starting materials, the intermediates built from them, and the reagents that drive each reaction step.
A
Pigment intermediates
10 products
Diazo components, bases and aromatic acids for reds, yellows, oranges and bordeaux shades in inks, paints and plastics.
All pigment intermediatesB
Amine intermediates
25 products
Anilines, toluidines, anisidines and phenylenediamines: the diazo and coupling components behind most azo dyes.
All amine intermediatesC
Benzenes & nitro compounds
16 products
Chlorinated and nitrated benzenes and toluenes: the starting materials for amines, optical brighteners and fine chemicals.
All benzenes & nitro compoundsD
Process chemicals
8 products
Sulfonating, diazotising and alkylating agents, plus inorganic salts, for the steps between intermediate and finished colour.

From first enquiry to repeat supply
Every customer relationship follows the same four steps.
You share your need
Product name or CAS number, grade, quantity, packing and delivery location.
We confirm the specification
Our technical team checks the product against your specification and suggests the right grade.
You trial a sample
A sample arrives with its test data, so you can run it alongside the material you use today.
Supply stays steady
Each lot is tested and shipped with its data, and repeat supply is scheduled to the same specification.
Where our range ends up
Our intermediates and process chemicals end up in fabric, packaging inks, wall paints and moulded parts.
Textile dyeing and printing
Disperse, acid and reactive dyes all start with amine and nitro intermediates.
Paints and coatings
Organic pigments that hold shade and strength from one production run to the next.
Plastics and masterbatch
Pigments that disperse cleanly and hold their shade through processing.
Dye and pigment manufacturers
Intermediates, diazotising and sulfonating agents for colour makers running their own synthesis.
Specialty chemical synthesis
Nitro compounds, amines and alkylating agents for brighteners and fine-chemical routes.

- Melting pointChecked
Tested in-house
What gets checked on a typical batch, from appearance and assay to moisture, melting point and insoluble matter, and what ships with every order.
